How long have you liked Titanic?
I've loved the ship and the story pretty much since I could read- some of my first books were on the Titanic. The story has always facinated me-the illusion of perd. One of my earliest Titanic memories dates back to the very begining of elementary school. We were studying boyancy, so the teacher gave each student a lump of plastercine and told us to make a boat that would float. I made the Titanic. It sunk.
Why do you love Titanic?
There are so many reasons that I love Titanic, it's impossible to narrow my love down to just one reason. Some of the main factors are the soundtrack, the characters, and of course, the story. The soundtrack can make you cry on it's own, so when it is combined with James Cameron's wonderful characters and script, the result is amazing. The characters are so wonderful and real, they seem like someone you could meet any day. And the story is the most amazing part of all. The story line is so original and moving that I believe it can never be topped.

Hmm...a toughie. I really love the Flying scene and the Not Without You scene, so I guess it's a tie between those two.
Who is your favorite actor and character in the movie? Why?
I would say both my fave character and fave actress would have to be Rose/Kate Winslet. I admire Rose because she is so intelligent and witty, and I admire Kate Winslet because she is so incredibly talented!

No, unfortunately I don't. However, I do have a HOTO reproduction and enough Titanic related marchandise to drown in!

Nobody knows. James Cameron has stated in interviews that it is up to the viewer to decide. I like to think that she died.

The Swim Dress.
If you could own anything from the Titanic(movie and real) what would it be and why?
From the movie, I would want the Dinner Dress- it's my fave, and it is truly a piece of art. So much work went into it. I'd just stick it on my dressform and stare at it. From the ship I think I'd want either the Grand staircase or a first class suite. Yup, I'm thinking big. I could just live in my little piece of the Titanic!
Do you wish that women wore beautiful dresses like back then, and were respected as it were?
Well, the beautiful dresses would be nice from time to time, but I am quite fond of my jeans, thank you. I wouldn't want women's social status to be the same though- who wants to be treated like a posession?

What was your reaction when watching titanic for the first time.
Honestly, I was terrified, lol. All those loud bangs and creaks in the sinking scene scared the crap out of me!

There's no novel, it's the screenplay. I got mine as a present, but I've seen it at major bookstores before. It's about $50.
